We are dirty, ugly, broken, far from perfection. All of us possesses a mud-like trait. Yes, a mud we use to see on ground and dirty places, a mud in which we avoid touching because it’s disgusting. People’s situation is terrible, catastrophic. But out of a mud, formed a ravishing sculpture people adored.

Like the mud, we are the clay, the clay that is in the hands of our Father. A marred clay formed according to what seems to be the best and beautiful for Him. Our God shaped and shaping us according to what pleases Him.

“So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭18:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are pursuing to be perfect, to be adorable to other people, but actually the Lord have formed us and see us at our finest, that no matter imperfection we have, He looks on us beautifully. You don’t have to exert lots of effort just to prove someone your beautiful because God have loved you at your darkest, dirtiest, and ugliest situation.

Our terrible and catastrophic situation can only be a beauteous catastrophe if only we get stick to the hands who holds us, that Jesus. That if we repent and be cleansed by Him, will let us to live beautifully no matter how disgusting we are. That beautiful situation we’re searching can only be found in His hands.

The Lord loves us in who we are. Yet, we can find our broken-selves to be the perfect and the most beautiful when we give ourselves in to His hands.
